Selinda Camp has eight spacious double or twin bedded Meru- style safari tents under thatch with uniquely designed private facilities. They are comfortably furnished with rich fabrics, a dressing table and a veranda with easy chairs. The main thatched building houses a comfortable lounge with a dining room above, both with spectacular views. There is also a plunge pool, as well as a curio store and walk in wine cellar, which is available for guest to enjoy.
Activities on offer include morning, afternoon and night game drives in custom-built 4 x 4 Land Cruisers. Short walks from camp accompanied by an armed guide are encouraged. The Selinda Walking Trail is a superb two-day walk between Tswene and Mokoba Trails Camps in the Linyanti Concession and a great add-on to a stay at either Selinda or Zibadianja camps. Wildlife and bird watching in the Selinda area is good throughout the year and the birding is particularly impressive during the wet months from December to April.
Game viewing is from open vehicles or on foot, and the guiding here is of a very high standard. A walking safari between the two camps is an excellent chance to see more of the area and get a real-feel for the African Bush.
Selinda Camp is booked on an all inclusive basis with accommodation, all meals and drinks (no premium drinks), scheduled game-viewing activities and laundry service. Children as of 6 years are allowed here on request.
