Namibia
A trip to Namibia is quite different to anything else you may imagine Africa to be!
A classic Safari through Namibia entails sunrise above the highest sand dunes in the world, a relaxed day in a hot water spring at the world´s second biggest canyon, walking along the endless beaches of Swakopmund, and close encounters on Safari with lions, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and great herds of antelope. A walking safari tracking black rhino is one of the unique Safari experiences Namibia has to offer.
You can have personal and close encounters with cheetah at one of Namibia's cheetah sanctuaries, walk through a fossilised forest, visit ancient cave paintings, and find old footprints of dinosaurs - or fresh ones of a leopard that has just passed your tent!
Namibia offers a great contrast and something for everyone. It is easy to get around by car on your own and also a perfect place to visit with smaller children and families.
