Karibu Entebbe: Our View
Just 10 minutes from Entebbe International Airport, Karibu Entebbe is a small guesthouse set on a leafy, tropical hillside, in a former presidential residence. Catering to just a small number of guests at any one time, Karibu offers an excellent level of personalised service, good quality food, 24-hour reception, fast internet, a swimming pool, spa & massage facilities as well as comfortable en suite rooms. Their well-established tropical garden is an absolute delight, with tropical birds flitting around the exotic plants and trees found there.
Karibu Entebbe has eight unique and individually designed rooms that are spread over the original homestead as well as an extension in their tropical gardens. All eight rooms have an en-suite bathroom with high pressure shower, king sized beds (double and single configuration only) and fast, free, Wi-Fi in the room.
Karibu Entebbe grows as much as they can of their own produce in their organic perma-culture garden as well as visiting the local markets daily to buy fresh vegetables, fish, and meat.
The dishes at Karibu incorporate these readily available fresh ingredients, prepared with a Mediterranean influence, as well as including some traditional favourites. The menu changes with the seasons and with the inspiration of head chef and owner, Leslie.

Karibu Entebbe: The Details
Karibu Entebbe was founded in May 2012 by Leslie (from Corsica) and Kevin (from New Zealand) and quickly established itself as a popular choice amongst travellers, with a reputation for excellent service, style, good food and cleanliness.
Most meals are served in the Karibu Entebbe main restaurant, looking out over the garden, with glimpses of Lake Victoria in the distance. For evening dining on a clear night, eating under the stars by lantern light on the open-air terrace is offered.
