Explore one of the last remaining wild frontiers, Mana Pools National Park, and Victoria Falls with a 10-day fly-in package. This itinerary starts in Victoria Falls and finishes in Harare or Victoria Falls or vice versa.

Day 1 – 3 : Arrive Victoria Falls and transfer to Old Drift Lodge

On arrival in Victoria Falls you will be met and transferred to Old Drift lodge - about a 45 minutes drive.

Old Drift Lodge is ideally situated within the National Park and offers guests all-inclusive insight into an exquisite natural world.

The activities offered emphasize the rich natural environment, focusing on the abundance of wildlife that roam through the Park and swim beneath the surface of the Zambezi. The park can be explored on a 4 x 4 game drive, river safari and walking safari.

Guided tours to the falls are also part of the many activities you can do there.

Day 4: Early transfer to Victoria Falls airport & fly with light charter aircraft to Mana Pools National Park

Today you depart from Old Drift Lodge and transfer to Victoria Falls airport for your light aircraft charter to Mana Pools National Park. At the airstrip a vehicle and driver will await you and drive you to the nearby Kanga Camp. Depending on the time of your arrival at the camp, you will be able to participate in game activities at the lodge. The next days are filled exploring the area either by game drive or on foot on a guided walking safari. Kanga Camp is a simple but very comfortable and well run bush camp, located directly on a waterhole. The game viewing here is excellent and often you don't even need to leave the lodge in order to enjoy the wildlife.

Day 5: Full day of game activities at Mana Pools, Kanga Camp

Today you wake up at the crack of dawn for your breakfast before heading out on a game drive or walking safari, lead by an experienced and knowledgable guide. The game viewing around Kanga Camp is very rich, with many large land living African species like elephants, zebra etc. Preditor sightings here are also superb, with a good population of wild dogs. For lunch and a siesta you return to the lodge, before heading out again for an afternoon game drive and sunset drink.

Day 6: Full day game activities at Mana Pools, Kanga Camp

The day starts early again with breakfast before heading out into the park, either on foot with a walking safari or a game drive. The activities are included at the lodge and the choice is entire yours. So best you discuss with the guides and management where your interests lie.

Day 7: Transfer via road to Nyamatusi Lodge, Mana Pools National Park

Today you transfer via road from Kanga Camp to Nyamatusi Camp on the eastern side of the park and right on the river banks of the Zambezi River. The combination between Kanga as a bush camp and Nyamatusi on the river is perfect and creates a great contrast. Nyamatusi is a new very luxury camp and offers, besides walking safaris and game drives, also guided canoe trips on the Zambezi River.

Day 8: Full day of game activities at Nyamatusi Camp, Mana Pools National Park

After an early breakfast at the lodge and a stunning sunrise over the river, you head out on one of the various activities on offer. The choice is yours as to what you want to do and the lodge will advice you on your best option available. Lunch and siesta is back at the lodge, before heading out in the afternoon on another activity.

Day 9: Last day in Paradise, Nyamatusi Lodge, Mana Pools National Park

Today as per usual your day is action packed with various activities on offer, from walks, canoe trips to game drives in Mana Pools. You pick, this is your trip. The park offers very diverse habitats, from open plains to thick forests. Therefor the species at Mana Pool are diverse and varied.

Day 10: Depart on light charter aircraft to Harare or Victoria Falls where your trip ends

You leave Mana Pools National Park on an early morning flight to Harare (or Victoria Falls for a supplement of US$120/person), where your trip ends.
