Day 1: Arrival in Maun & transfer to Island Safari Lodge

On your arrival in Maun you will be met and welcomed by your guide or one of our representatives and transferred to Island Safari Lodge. Located on the banks of the Thamalakane River, Island Safari Lodge is a cool and welcoming oasis in the heart of Maun. Relax by one of the two swimming pools or head to the restaurant and bar for the river view.

Day 2: Early Departure to Moremi Game Reserve

Deopart Island Safari Lodge by 6:00am head north towards Moremi Game Reserve for approximately 45km. From this point on you will start to enjoy the rich and diverse fauna and flora this area is famous for. Spend the day exploring this wildlife rich and diverse area, enjoying the scenery and experiencing photographic opportunities of a lifetime.
Arrive at the campsite in time for the evening. Camp will be set up, so you can kick back and relax.

Day 3: Explore the Moremi Game Reserve - morning and afternoon game drive

After breakfast enjoy a morning game drive. The unique ecosystem and characteristics of the Okavango Delta allows for a diverse spectrum of wildlife. Return to the camp for lunch and an afternoon siesta. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive to explore this unique and legendary game reserve. Return to camp in the early evening to enjoy the campfire and the African night skies.

Day 4: Travel from Moremi Game Reserve to Khwai

Leave Moremi Game Reserve after breakfast and move on to your next destination - Khwai. Khwai is a village on the north bank of the Khwai River in the North-West District of Botswana. Khwai boasts all that the Moremi does, after all it is in the greater part of the reserve, and there are no fences that prohibit wildlife from moving across. Arrive at the campsite in time to enjoy a wholesome lunch. After a siesta you'll embark on an afternoon game drive. Return to camp to enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by the camp chef.

Day 5: Leave Khwai and travel to the Savuti area

Enjoy breakfast and move on to your next destination, Savuti. The Savuti is one of Africa's best known big game areas and boasts one of the greatest concentrations of animals in Southern Africa. Arrive at the campsite in the late afternoon. Embark on your late afternoon game drive and enjoy what this remarkable area has to offer. Return to camp in the evening for a delicious dinner.

Day 6: Explore Savuti - morning and afternoon game drive

After breakfast depart on a morning game drive to explore Savuti. The area is famous for its predators, especially its resident lion and spotted hyena populations. Return to camp midday for lunch and an afternoon siesta. Head out again in the afternoon on another game drive. In the evening return to camp for dinner.

Day 7: Leave Savuti and travel to Chobe and Kasane, overnight at  Water Lily Lodge

After breakfast you'll will be moving on to Chobe. Chobe National Park is Botswana's first national park, and also the most biologically diverse. Explore the Serondela area (or Chobe riverfront), situated in the extreme north-east of the park. Its main geographical features are lush floodplains and dense woodland of mahogany, teak and other hardwoods now
largely reduced by heavy elephant pressure. Arrive at Kasane in the late afternoon and settle into your accommodation at Water Lily Lodge. An optional sundowner boat cruise on the Chobe River can be arranged in the late afternoon (not included).

Day 8: Cross the boarder at Kasane into Zimbabwe and visit Victoria Falls

After breakfast you will be transferred to Zimbabwe, a journey that, depending on the cross border legalities will take about 1 –1:30 hours to reach the town of Victoria Falls. Explore Victoria Falls - one of the world’s seven natural wonders, or also known as Mosi oa Tunya, "the Smoke that Thunders”. After lunch your knowledgable guide will inform you about local culture, amazing geological information and the history of the Victoria Falls. In the late afternoon return to Kasane for your last night at Water Lily Lodge.

Day 9: Transfer from Water Lily Lodge to Kasane Airport

Your journey has come to an end. You have the choice to have a bit of a late lie-in, or just spend the morning at leisure. Check out is normally between 10am and 11am. Your pre-arranged transfer will be ready to take you to Kasane airport for your onward journey.
