Pangolin Chobe Hotel

Pangolin Chobe Hotel: Our View
Located on the Kasane escarpment overlooking the expansive Chobe River and flood plains, this modern boutique hotel definitely has The Wow Factor. The architecture and design of this property is simply stunning, from the entire building being shaped in the form of the pangolin, the stained glass windows, the modern, edgy furnishings, the photo gallery within the body of the hotel – it all simply oozes style and taste. Pangolin Chobe Hotel is the newest addition to the Pangolin Photographic Safari portfolio. While Pangolin Chobe Hotel remains within the general Kasane/Chobe mid range accommodation options, Pangolin offers guests the added bonus of having professional photographic guides, the use of their special DSLR cameras and lenses, and their specially kitted out game viewing/photo motorboats where everyone gets a seat fitted with a camera gimbal.
The hotel boasts 14 double en suite rooms, an infinity eco pool, inside and outside dining areas, as well as a photo editing suite, and bar. The photo gallery exhibits work by the pro photographer owners, managers, guides and even the guests themselves, and provides inspiration to all, from complete beginners, the mildly interested through to the most avid amateur photographers.

Pangolin Chobe Hotel: The Details
Northern Chobe is a very busy National Park, with added numbers of visitors coming across the border from Livingstone, Zambia and Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe for day trips. During high season, June – September, visitor numbers are greatly increased, and for some, this can somewhat spoil the experience that is Chobe.
Due to Pangolins proximity to the Park entrance gate, they are able to get into the Park earlier than most operators, and avoid the throng of vehicles. Pangolin also has a Chobe Houseboat on their portfolio, which is another wonderful way of getting away from the crowds. Pangolin has a tented camp in the Khwai area bordering Moremi Game Reserve to the south, where they offer the same photographic specials, offering great combinations of Chobe (hotel or houseboat) and Khwai/Moremi within the same portfolio.
