The Waterfront Lodge: Our View

The Waterfront is a popular lodge located on the north bank of the Zambezi River about 3km upstream from the Victoria Falls and is a good budget option, offering good price and value.

The Waterfront Lodge is a busy place and a hub for overland safaris and self drivers in the region. There usually is quite a lot of action in the evening around their sports bar and with people returning from their river cruises. The refreshing swimming pools at The Waterfront are also a favourite hangout for traveller intros area.

Accommodation ranges from simple, but comfortable rooms with private bathrooms on the river banks, to basic dome tents with shared ablution blocks. The Waterfront is surrounded by well maintained lawns and gardens. The staff is very friendly and helpful and will happily answer any questions you may have.

There are numerous activities on offer at the Victoria Falls and in The Waterfront area, which can be booked directly at The Waterfront's activity desk. The rooms here are booked on a Bed and Breakfast basis only and other meals are available at the bar all day. Children of any age are welcome.
