Selinda Camp: Our View

Selinda Camp is located on a huge private reserve, over 200 000 acres (!) in the north eastern section of the magnificent Okavango Delta. Selinda Camp lies between the Chobe National Park and the Moremi Game Reserve. As such Selinda is quite a unique camp being one of the few safari camps in the area.

Selinda Camp has three luxurious, spacious, lavishly furnished, double or twin bedded Meru- style safari tents under thatch. Each tent is equipped with uniquely designed private facilities, including private plunge pool for each tented roomIn addition Selinda Camp offers their magnificent Selinda Suite, a 2 bedroomed tented villa that sleeps four. The Selinda Suite operates exclusively, as guests enjoy their own private vehicle, safari guide, chef, manager / butler and entrance to their residence.

The main thatched building of Selinda Camp houses a comfortable raised lounge and dining room, both with spectacular views and billowing North African style silk drapes below the ceilings. There is also a communal swimming pool, as well as a curio store and temperature controlled walk in wine cellar for guests to enjoy.

The safari drives, walks, boating, tracking, birding and other viewing activities are designed to show you the best wildlife the area has to offer. Leopard, elephant and hippo abound in this area. You can also hope to see many of the 200 or more bird species found here.

Game viewing is from open vehicles or on foot. Guiding at Selinda Camp is of a high standard.
