Glen Avon Lodge: Our View 

Glen Avon Lodge is probably our favourite lodge in Cape Town, with a superb location and top price-value. Different room types are on offer, all with a classic decoration and great view over the lush gardens of the lodge and the gorgeous surrounding Constantia mountains. A friendly manageress awaits you, open to any questions and requests. The lodge rightly takes great pride in their fine dining, which needs to be booked in advance. A delicious free full English breakfast comes with spending the night here. 

The Constantia Valley is centrally located in Capetown und famous for its surrounding vineyards and farms. It is easy from here to reach all the major attractions Cape Town has to offer. If you don´t specifically want to stay near the beach, we highly recommend this lodge.

Glen Avon Lodge is a home away from home! This five-star owner run Boutique Style Hotel offers sixteen elegant rooms & suites and is situated in the stunning winelands of Constantia Valley in Cape Town. All rooms & suites lead out onto private patios and balconies, overlooking the lush gardens of the lodge. The historical Cape Dutch Style manor building houses the public areas of the guest lounge and dining room. 

Glen Avon's eleven-meter saltwater pool is solar heated with loungers and comfy cushions. Hearty breakfasts are served daily on the front veranda, under umbrellas in the summer months. By prior arrangement, the most delicious three course candlelit gourmet dinners can be prepared by their two resident chefs, complemented by fine Valley wines from the region. Guests just need to let the hotel know by 11am on the day if they would like to eat at the hotel.

Glen Avon is situated twenty minutes' drive from Cape Town and the V&A Waterfront and easily accessible via the M3 Highway which leads to many Cape Town's most scenic tourist attractions, including Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cape Point and the pristine beaches of the Atlantic & the Indian Oceans.

The lodge is eco-friendly and has recently added heat pumps and solar voltaic cells to all rooms. All bathroom products are made locally and are environmentally friendly. In recognition of these initiatives Glen Avon has received a GT-Active Green Certificate!
