Kitela Lodge: Our View

Kitela Lodge rises up on the hillside of a valley with beautiful views of a coffee plantation and a waterfall within the incredible highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It consists of 20 colonial style cottages surrounded by beautiful gardens, a coffee plantation and a working farm.

In the setting of the majestic mountains, this exclusive hotel is a haven of peace and comfort with all the attentions and the luxury of a traditional country villa. The relaxation that this lodge offers including its refreshing swimming pool are the perfect contrast to the intense excursions and safaris available from the lodge to the Ngorongoro Conservation area.

There are 20 spacious rooms in individual cottages. All of them have views of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The rooms have an en-suite bathroom with shower and a private furnished terrace.

Kitela Lodge: The Details

The Kitela Lodge Rooms are stylish double, twin, or triple rooms each with a balcony overlooking the coffee plantation and gardens. There are two interconnected double rooms that each offer capacity for up to 5 guests – perfect for families.

Meals are usually served in the main building while a buffet lunch is occasionally served at the pool. Home grown fresh vegetables are usually included on the lodge menu.
