Savuti Camp: Our View
Savuti Camp stands out with loads of character and personality. There are just six luxuriously furnished canvas and thatch rooms here, built on elevated platforms in a shady area. Each has an adjoining bathroom and there is a central dining area, lounge, bar, and plunge pool, which all look out onto an extraordinary channel of water.
Activities guests can participate in are day or night drives in open 4x4 along the Linyanti River and Savuti Channels or short guided walks with armed rangers. This region has a good elephant population and numerous other animals. Bird watching is excellent and the camp has a hide overlooking a nearby waterhole that attracts all sorts of thirsty wildlife.

Savuti Camp: The Details
The Linyanti has diverse and prolific wildlife, in particular a large elephant population which can reach enormous densities during the dry winter months. Other game concentrations in this area are also high. Apart from abundant plains game, species such as roan and sable antelope, giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah, spotted hyena, black-backed jackal and wild dog may also be encountered. This area can also be excellent for the rarely-seen aardvark and aardwolf. Birding is spectacular.
