Dunia Camp: Our View 

Pitched on a major wildebeest migration corridor in the Central Serengeti, Dunia Camp offers easy access to the scenic Moru Kopjes and superb sightings of the big cats, leopard and rhino that roam the forests on the fringes of the Seronera River.

Out of all the Serengeti Lodges and Camps, Dunia Camp is the only one run by an all women team. Dunia is a tranquil semi-permanent camp with just eight spacious tented suites, each with expansive views of the pristine wilderness and game-filled plains from a large private veranda. Attention to every detail is balanced by a graceful simplicity in harmony with the serene location. Enjoy an exclusive Serengeti safari with superb sightings of resident game and migration viewing twice a year, and round it all off with a sunrise hot-air balloon flight.

Dunia Camp: The Details

The safari comes right to Dunia, with the migrating wildebeest herds regularly passing the camp. Outside of the migration, there is plenty more opportunity for wildlife spotting too. During downtime, sink into a leather armchair with a cold drink in the open-sided dining tent and scan the sun-bleached plains for movement - or get lost in a book before retiring to your tent for an afternoon snooze. 

The food at Dunia is prepared on-site by their on-site chefs. Dunia Camp buys fresh vegetables from the local communities and sources the rest of their food as locally as possible too. Breakfast can be a hearty cooked meal on the deck overlooking the Serengeti plains. Alternatively, you can eat when you return from your game drive or enjoy a packed breakfast in the bush!  

Lunch is a light buffet at camp or packed up for those who want to spend a full day out in the bush. A relaxed dinner is served at camp after the evening game drive - or you can opt to have a bush dinner under the stars.
