Ichingo Chobe River Lodge: Our View

The Ichingo Chobe River Lodge is a charming bush lodge located right on the banks of the Chobe River, in the Caprivi Strip minutes away from the Kasane Border post in Botswana.

The lodge is hidden under shady trees on the riverbanks of the Chobe River with tossing waters and rapids right in front. The lounge area opens up to the water and is a perfect place to just relax with a good book. Dawn and Ralph, the owners of Ichingo Chobe River Lodge give you the feel of a home away from home and host every dinner in the evening, mostly accompanied by an interesting conversation.

The lodge has 8 very spacious tented rooms, situated on the raised riverbanks of the Chobe. Each tent has en-suite toilet and shower facilities. The food here is excellent and prepared with lots of care and to each customer's liking.

There are many great activities one can do here, but the highlights are fishing trips on the Chobe River for bream and tiger fish either with fly or course, depending on the season and a river safari into the Chobe National Park. Huge herds of elephants, buffalo, giraffe, leopard, lion, kudu, waterbuck, puku, lechwe and impala are amongst others that can be viewed at the water’s edge.
