Lake Burunge Tented Camp: Our View

Lake Burunge Tented Campis strategically located in the natural corridor between Manyara and Tarangire, so the spectacle of the migration is practically guaranteed. The camp is located 10 minutes from the entrance to the park, which is known as Sangaiwe.

Burunge Tented Campconsists of 20 tents built on wide wooden platforms and 10 bungalows. All rooms have a private bathroom and private terrace and are supplied with solar electricity. From the private terrace guests can enjoy the views of Lake Burunge, Tarangire National Park and on clear days Mt. Meru.

The main building it located in the middle of the camp and includes the living room, restaurant and a large terrace with spectacular views of Lake Burunge and Tarangire National Park. The meals can be enjoyed inside or outside on the large terrace ( picnic meals can be arranged on request). From the elegant wooden central platform where the Camp’s restaurant is located guests may enjoy gazing across to the lakeshore to watch the animals that come to quench their thirst.

Lake Burunge Tented Camp: The Details

The central area with dining room and lounge is an open thatched structure built on raised wooden floors. A deck and an assortment of indoor and outdoor furniture is positioned to make the most of the gorgeous views. The dining area offers views of Lake Burunge.

There are ten en-suite bungalows and twenty large, comfortable, en-suite tents. All the rooms and tents have been built on raised wooden floors. The decor has an African theme while the four-poster beds are all fitted with mosquito netting. Private verandas offer views of Lake Burunge from the privacy of your room.
